This jack took a roach a few seconds after it was cast

Four Jacks and a greedy Perch

This Penzoy Jack took a Rudd at about 7.00 am.
Another Pike of about the same size (5lbs) was caught just before it and 2 smaller Pike were caught later at about 8.00 am.




This 1-2 lbs Perch took a Rudd that was about half its size just after the 3rd Pike of the day. Runs came surprisingly quick today with two fish taking the Rudd seconds after it had been cast.


This part of the Drain looks Pikey, looks like Greylake car park is closest.

Bradney Jack

After walking 500 miles from Parchey car park Phil caught this Jack using a Big 'S' in the margins at 11am. I lost a fish on the same section just before :-(

Phil caught another margin patrolling Pike of about 5 lbs on gold corner at 12.30. The second fish, caught just round the corner on the Huntspill straight, was unfortunately camera shy.

Double caught on a smelt at Pontsticill Reservoir

Fish was caught at about 11am after we were advised to move to a less pressured swim. Dave casted straight out in front from the middle of the swim.

Llangorse lake next time? :-)

10lb Pike caught on a Jose Mourinho deadbait at Cheddar Reservoir

Not on the drop this time like the last one was at cheddar. Run occured about 20 minutes after casting out tight to the left of the tower at about 10.30. Weather was quite choppy so we called it a day at 11am. A quick scout round the other side showed the weather to be more favourable there but we'd given up by then.

Dog walkers reported some fish coming out of the other side earlier that morning, but no anglers were there so they must have called it a day as well :-)
